FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Fort Collins police say they are still trying to determine the contents of a suspicious package found at a Fort Collins shopping center.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan says police used a water cannon to destroy the device. The package was found near a beauty parlor at Front Range Village by a groundskeeper on Sunday.

Police cordoned off the parking lot and the bomb squad used a robot with a camera and X-ray to inspect the device. The device was described as a small box with wires sticking out and a fuse.
