Broomfield-based Level 3 Communications said today that it has been selected by – the official website of Major League Baseball – to augment content delivery services in support of live and on-demand online streaming.
One year ago, the Broomfield firm announced it had been selected by to provide high-speed IP and colocation to support MLB’s network, media archive, as well as live and on-demand streaming capabilities.
Level 3 said today that with the addition of the new services, Level 3 is supporting the delivery of MLB’s video streaming from creation to consumption using the firm’s CDN platform combined with the company’s Vyvx video broadcast backhaul services.
