Wheat Ridge Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murdering his roommate.
Police arrested Randy G. McAllister, 47, on suspicion of the second-degree murder of Toby J. Barrera, 47, said Wheat Ridge Police Department spokeswoman Lisa Stigall.Police responded to the home the two men shared with McAllister’s brother and daughter about 5:15 a.m. on June 2, Stigall said, and found Barrera dead on the floor. Police arrested McAllister the following day, and an autopsy Saturday confirmed foul play, said Stigall.
The cause of death is key to the investigation, Stigall said, and it has not been made public.
