• Because of a reporting error, a quote by Colorado cable pioneer Paul Maxwell in Woody Paige’s column on Page 3C on Sunday should have been attributed to The Sports Business Journal, which interviewed Maxwell. “The first thing he asked Bill (Daniels) was: ‘Are we ever going to make money?’ ” Maxwell said. “Bill knew it would work. We both thought it was brilliant.”
• Because of a reporting error, a story on Page 2B on Thursday gave an incorrect name for New Raymer resident Dennis Kugler.
• Because of a reporting error, a story on Page 1K on May 22 about radio financial-show hosts should have said Erik Sale of Vail signed a consent decree with the Colorado attorney general’s office dismissing his portion of a lawsuit alleging false and deceptive trade practices. Without admitting liability, Sale agreed never to work in the debt settlement, credit repair or debt-counseling business, but is not prohibited from working in the financial services industry.
• Because of an editing error, the title of U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates was incorrect in a photo caption on Page 2A on Tuesday.
