A stretch of South Wadsworth Boulevard will be closed overnight for a construction project and drivers will be detoured.
Wadsworth, from Cross Street to West Bowles Avenue in Jefferson County, will be closed in both directions at 7 p.m. and it’s scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to a Jefferson County media release.
The work is part of the Bowles/Wadsworth Boulevard Intersection Project, which includes a new southbound lane on Wadsworth, a pedestrian bridge, upgraded traffic signals, new sidewalks and drainage improvements.
