Through June 20: Fashion Group International of Denver is seeking new Colorado fashion design businesses (in operation one to seven years) for competition in nine categories for the Rising Star Awards Gala on Oct. 8. Caring Is Sexy: Design Contest
Through July 1: Sexy Hair is inviting artists of any skill level to design its annual limited-edition packaging to raise awareness for breast cancer. Five designers will be named finalists and will have their work posted online for a two-week voting process. Proceeds from the Special Edition hairspray will benefit Sexy Hair’s nonprofit partner, “Look Good . . . Feel Better.” Visit the website for guidelines.
