Based in Greeley, Eyeline Golf has created a training ball that is five times heavier than a regulation golf ball. The steel ball can expose every flaw in a golfer’s putting stroke. You may think that you are hitting solid putts, but just wait until you putt one of these. Roughly 90 percent of golfers’ putting strokes break down at least to some degree. Because of this, their first efforts only move the steel ball about two feet, because their wrists are leading the breakdown. Once their wrists are firm and they keep the putter low back, low through, they can putt the heavy ball consistently. Then when they putt a normal ball, the results are astounding. Even veteran tour players are amazed. About 100 tour players are using these. At $10 for one or $24.95 for three, they may sound pricey, but they are worth it ( or 800-969-3764).
