LONGMONT, Colo.—A Longmont woman is being forced to patch her roof after a falling chunk of ice believed to come from a passing airplane punched a 6-inch hole in her roof.

Susan Zinga says no one was hurt when the ice crashed through an upstairs bedroom on Thursday.

Municipal Airport manager Tim Barth says the likely culprit was ice from a passenger plane.
