A man on a bus was arrested Thursday night for harassing another rider, police said.
The incident happened at about 9:15 p.m. at the Greyhound Bus Lines terminal, 120 S. Weber St., according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.
Police were called to the terminal on a report of a fight between two people on a bus. When officers arrived they determined that a man had been “harassing” a woman on board and another man had intervened on the woman’s behalf.
The suspect allegedly “grabbed” the man who stuck up for the woman “by the throat” and threatened “to kill him,” the blotter said.
Police identified the suspect as 24-year-old Edwin Potts.
Potts was arrested on two misdemeanor counts of harassment and one count of endangering public transportation, a felony, police said.
