BOZEMAN, Mont.—Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply says it will acquire Quality Supply stores in Missoula, Hamilton, Butte and Dillon.
The Bozeman-based supply store announced the acquisition on Thursday, saying the deal is scheduled to close o Tuesday.
Murdoch’s says 10 of Quality Supply’s 175 employees will lose their jobs as a result of the acquisition.
The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports that terms of the sale were not disclosed.
The acquisition will give Murdoch’s 21 stores Montana, Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska, and a work force of more than 1,000 people.
