U.S. airlines collected nearly $5.7 billion in baggage and reservation-change fees last year, according to data released Monday by the Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
The airlines received $3.4 billion from bag fees and $2.3 billion from reservation-change fees in 2010.
