A Larimer County Jail deputy was arrested this morning on charges of domestic violence, drunken driving, harassment and prohibited use of his weapon, the Sheriff’s Department said today.
Daniel Bush, 42, of Fort Collins was booked into the city jail and placed on paid leave from his job while the charges are investigated, the Sheriff’s Department said.
He was released on $1,750 bond, records show.
All of the charges against Bush are misdemeanors.
Public records show he is going through a divorce in Larimer County Family Court.
The weapons charge against him is characterized in court documents as “drunk with a gun.”
A mandatory protection order was issued as part of Bush’s charges today, according to the court record.
