FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A Fort Collins math teacher is denying accusations that she gave Webber Middle School students hints and other help during statewide tests.

Teacher Julie Pfeifer has been on paid leave since April.

Superintendent Jerry Wilson recommended Pfeifer’s dismissal for insubordination, incompetence, immorality and other good and just cause, allegations required by the state for dismissing a teacher.

Wilson tells the Fort Collins Coloradoan the district scrapped Colorado Student Assessment Program test scores for 23 students because of Pfeifer’s actions.
