Crews worked through the night to try and restore power to 19 homes in Thornton after an underground line failed.
The outage started at 12:25 last night in the area of E. 130th Avenue near Colorado Boulevard, said Mark Stutz, spokesman for Xcel Energy.
An underground line failed in multiple locations, Stutz said.
“It’s not indicative of a larger problem,” Stutz said. “You’ll see this from time to time.”
Power should be restored within the hour.
