SUMMIT COUNTY — Andrew Proctor, a 2011 graduate of Summit High, was killed early Saturday morning in a trail biking accident.
Proctor, 18, apparently rounded a corner too fast on County Road 124 in Summit Cove just after 2 a.m. Saturday, left the roadway and went into an embankment, according to the Summit County Coroner. After being ejected from the bike, Proctor, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered trauma to the head and neck, which was the cause of death, according to the coroner.
