A man died Friday night when he was thrown from his motorcycle in a crash on the city’s west side.
Police say Randall Staggs, 52, was riding west on Colorado Avenue when his Honda hit a Toyota Camry, which was turning left onto 31st Street.
Staggs, who authorities say was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered severe injuries. He died a short time after the crash at a hospital.
The driver of the Camry was uninjured.
Police said they’re investigating to figure out what caused the crash and who was at fault. Alcohol is not thought to be a factor
