CHICAGO — The American Medical Association said Sunday that it lost 12,000 member physicians last year, which some blamed on the group’s support of the health care law. The disclosure during the AMA’s annual policymaking House of Delegates meeting came as members consider withdrawing support of the law’s provision requiring Americans to purchase health insurance.
