Westminster firefighters helped deliver a baby whose mother made it as far as a convenience store parking lot, the department said this afternoon.
The baby girl arrived at 4:10 a.m. Monday at the Jenny’s Market Conoco at West 120th Avenue and Perry Street.
Her mother called 9-1-1 enroute to the hospital in Northglenn and said she couldn’t make it.
When Westminster Fire Department paramedics arrived birth was imminent, the department said in a media release.
The mother and baby came through the delivery in “good condition,” the fire department said.
The family’s names were not released.
