BOULDER, Colo.—The University of Colorado is investigating possible mold contamination in the Boulder campus’s Engineering Center after six workers got sick.
The workers filed for workers’ compensation after they reported irritated eyes and respiratory ailments after working in the building.
CU spokeswoman Malinda Miller-Huey says the university investigated and found no mold contamination.
The Boulder Daily Camera says initial tests showed no water damage or anything that would cause mold.
The university has placed a large air filter in the building and performed a deep cleaning as a precaution.
