
Collectors of vintage Western art, clothing, antiques and American Indian design will find plenty to browse through at the Denver Old West Show & Auction at the Denver Merchandise Mart Friday through Sunday, with 200 dealers exhibiting their wares. Saturday’s 5 p.m. auction of more than 400 items will include a number of Western fashion picks such as a John Wayne movie hat, Montie Montana outfits, vintage and custom boots, and American Indian embroidery and beadwork. Show hours are 3-6 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5; children under 12 get in free; and attendees with military, police, fire or EMT/paramedic IDs are admitted free Sunday. Admission to the auction and preview are free.
