SAN FRANCISCO — Police say five people have been shot and wounded, and they are looking for a suspect.
San Francisco police spokesman Lt. Troy Dangerfield says a gunman fired shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday. The shooting was a few blocks from the city’s Gay Pride festivities at the Civic Center, which had just ended for the day. There was no immediate word on whether the incident had any connection to festivalgoers.
Police say they are searching for a suspect whom Dangerfield described as a 6-foot-tall man in his 20s with dreadlocks.
