The ride, presented by Newmont Mining Corporation, supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. More than 3,000 cyclist have pledged to raise more than $3.4 million, according to the Colorado-Wyoming chapter of the national society
“This is a remarkable accomplishment,” said Carrie Nolan, president of the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter. “The funds raised by these teams and all participants and supporters throughout the years have led to advances in treatments.”
The two-day ride goes from Front Range Community College in Westminster to Colorado State University in Fort Collins and back.
The 150-mile race concludes tomorrow as the cyclists return to Westminster.
