Boulder County Sheriffs are seeking information about a couple that approached two 11-year-old girls playing outside of Nederland on Saturday evening.
The couple approached the girls from their car near Cardinal Road. The white male driver, about 200 pounds with brown hair and rectangle glasses, spoke to the girls as if he knew them, asking them to come and play at his house more often, a police report said.
There was a white woman in the car who stared straight ahead and did not say anything, the report said. She was 200-220 pounds, had thin brown hair and wore large, dark glasses.
The girls, who did not know the man speaking to them, backed away from the car and into the woods.
The car may be a white Hyundai hatchback, with Colorado license plates, a green tarp in the back seat and has a flat back end, according to the report.
