COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado police have arrested a 37-year-old man suspected of molesting a child after more than a dozen residents surrounded his apartment until police arrived.
Police said a 12-year-old girl was walking in the hallway of her apartment building Wednesday evening when she was grabbed by the suspect.
Police said the man began to fondle the girl and attempted to carry her back into his apartment when he was confronted by a neighbor. The man dropped the girl and his apartment was surrounded by 15 to 20 residents who trapped the man in his apartment.
Police arrested Patrick Guylyn on suspicion of second-degree kidnapping, sexual assault on a child and felony menacing.
