DENVER—Congressman Jared Polis and his longtime partner, Marlon Reis, say they’re expecting to become parents in September.
The Denver Post reports that Polis said Tuesday that they are both “very excited to become new parents.” The Democrat from Boulder is one of the few openly gay members of Congress.
The couple declined to comment on whether they are adopting or having a child through a surrogate pregnancy.
Reis is a 29-year-old writer in Boulder.
