Holiday revelers around the state this weekend will celebrate the nation’s independence under sunny to mostly sunny skies with only slight chances of showers and thunderstorms.
Fourth of July weekend barbeques and gatherings will be hot, with high temperatures in Denver poised to be in the upper 80s to lower- to mid-90s, according to the National Weather Service.
In lower mountain valleys, daytime highs should top out in the upper-60s to lower-70s through the weekend, where skies will be sunny to mostly sunny and the chance for showers and thrunderstorms slight.
Weather conditions should be hot and dry for most parts of the state through the long weekend, the weather service reports.
