A single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 70 this afternoon killed one woman. Traffic was snarled during rush hour, Denver police said.
The woman has not been named. She died after being ejected in the easbound lanes of the Havana Street, east of the on-ramp, said Denver police spokesman John White.
He did not elaborate on the circumstances, but said the cause is under investigation.
The crash happened at 3:11 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Two eastbound lanes were closed until nearly 6 p.m.
