The search is over for a 15-year-old runaway from Longmont and her boyfriend, a 20-year-old convicted felon with a growing rap sheet.
The girl and Kyle Chance Brooks were found in Burke Park in Boulder on Tuesday by the Longmont Police Department and members of the Boulder County Drug Task Force.
The girl was returned to her parents. Brooks is being held on $50,000 bail.
Brooks is charged with two counts of felony contributing to the delinquency of a minor, four counts of violation of a protection order, one count of violation of bail-bond conditions, one count of illegal possession of ethyl alcohol, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said they expect further charges to be filed.
