ASPEN — James Bennet, the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic magazine and brother of U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet, is due in traffic court after he was arrested in Aspen on suspicion of driving under the influence.
A police report says James Bennet, 45, was arrested July 2. The Aspen Daily News reported he was in town helping to orchestrate the annual Aspen Ideas Festival, which his magazine co-founded.
He is due in traffic court Aug. 23.
