VAIL, Colo.—The Town of Vail Public Library says it will be closed through the weekend as crews work to repair damage from when Middle Creek flooded this week.

The Vail Daily reports the main wing of the library isn’t scheduled to reopen until Tuesday.

Librarian Lori Barnes says the library’s entryway, atrium, community room, children’s room and lower level flooded. Restoration crews are removing and replacing drywall along the baseboard of affected areas and sanitizing flooring.

No library materials were damaged.
