A business fire in Colorado Springs this morning was caused by arson.
The fire broke out at about 4 a.m. at Fast Cash Pawn & Loan, 203 Chelton Road, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department Twitter page.
When firefighters arrived, smoke was streaming from the attic and flames were visible on the roof.
There were no reports of injuries.
The fire was caused by an “incendiary” and it was “intentionally set,” according to fire investigators.
The fire department said there was a fire at the same building two weeks ago.
Chelton Road was closed from East Bijou Street to Chelton Loop this morning but it has been reopened.
The arson investigation is ongoing.
