Denver City Council members voted 8-2 Monday night to approve a change in the recreation-center fee structure.
Instead of charging patrons based solely on their age, Denver Parks and Recreation will charge people using a formula that factors in both their age and the type of center they use. The new system takes effect Sept. 1.
