Denver-based Riptide Games has merged with a Ontario-based Projkt Nine to concentrate on the development of “freemium next-gen mobile games,” Riptide founder Brian Robbins said Monday.
The merger comes after more than a year of collaboration on projects that include My Pet Zombie, which is available in Canada and will be released worldwide Thursday.
The new company will operate under the Riptide Games label and be based in Denver.
