Colorado on Wednesday added a two commitments on the defensive line, including one from three-star defensive end Victor Irokansi of Pflugerville, Texas, according to the network.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder Irokansi told that he’ll fit nicely into CU’s scheme for 2012.

“I’m going to be a pass-rushing threat when I get down there,” he said. “My first step will beat anybody.”

CU also got a commitment for 2011 from Westlake H.S. defensive tackle Justin Solis, a 6-3, 300-pound player from Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Solis, who was raised by his grandmother, was being recruited by Oregon and UCLA, he had said.

Irokansi, a three-star prospect according to Rivals, also had offers from Army, Iowa State, New Mexico and Texas State. But he should be viewed as a soft commitment, as he told that things could change depending on future scholarship offers.

“As of right now, out of the offers I have right now, I’m 100 percent committed to Colorado,” Irokansi said. “It’s life though. Something may pop up and I might take an official (visit) to Colorado and I might take an official (visit) somewhere else, and I may find out I like somewhere else better.”
