A man has been feigning curiosity in order to pinch purses and wallets from office building employees along Greenwood Plaza Boulevard.
“Prior to stealing the items, the suspect distracted the office personnel by asking several questions, including asking for a business card,” according to the Greenwood Village Police Department media release. “Once the office personnel became distracted, the suspect took the wallets and purses.”
The police department did not disclose how many incidents had occurred or when they occurred. A spokeswoman was not immediately available.
He is a Hispanic, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a stocky build. He has short brown hair, clean- shaven and sometimes wears glasses.
