One of the pioneers in the local DIY movement is celebrating its fifth anniversary Saturday at its original store, Fancy Tiger Crafts, and the store selling the wares of local designers and artists it inspired, Fancy Tiger Clothing. The party begins at 10 a.m. at Fancy Tiger Crafts, 1 S. Broadway, where samples of limited-edition fabric will be given away until 7 p.m. There’s also a champagne toast at 5 p.m. At Fancy Tiger Clothing, 18 S. Broadway, tote bags will be given away during an all-day sale 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and they’ll offer cupcakes and refreshments from 6- 9 p.m. A guest D.J. will provide entertainment.
