Help celebrate this Colorado icon at her historic Capitol Hill mansion-turned- museum with free Blue Bell ice cream, a scavenger hunt throughout the home, and an exhibit of photos taken in a Titanic lifeboat (part of the 99th Anniversary Titanic Expo). Get decked out in some Victorian period garb and enjoy lawn games and treats. $8 tickets for members, children and seniors; $12 for nonmembers. Festival for kids
Today and Sunday. KidSpree is an outdoor festival designed with pint-sized Coloradans in mind. Returning this weekend for its 16th year, the festival’s activities include a Tot Town, life-size board games, inflatable rides, art projects, parkour demonstrations and performances by Dave the Horn Guy of “Lopez Tonight” fame. Happening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bicentennial Park, 13655 E.
