A severe thunderstorm menacing central Gilpin County could produce hail the size of half dollars, the National Weather Service has warned.
The storm, about 32 miles west of Denver, is moving north at about 10 miles an hour.
Residents and visitors to Tolland, Colo. and the surrounding areas should take cover and stay away from creek beds and other flood-prone areas, according the warning, which expires at 3 p.m.
