The Larimer County sheriff Tuesday lifted restrictions on tubing on the Poudre River, about a month after he enacted them.

People may now use inner tubes, air mattresses and single-chambered rafts along the river, according to a news release.

Fort Collins Parks and Natural Areas also lifted its river access closure.

The sheriff’s office warned residents to use caution because river levels could stay high for a while.

The Larimer County Dive Rescue Team reminds people to wear life jackets, avoid playing near spillways or small dams and to know their limits.
