Alpha Sleep Diagnostics of Denver has paid $67,500 to the government to settle allegations that it inappropriately billed Medicare for sleep studies conducted by unlicensed sleep technologists.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Denver alleged that Alpha Sleep used uncertified sleep technologists from Jan. 1, 2008, through Dec. 31, 2009.
