DENVER—Denver police are seeking a gang of men who are beating couples with baseball bats and robbing them in downtown Denver.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says there have been two attacks. One couple was attacked Saturday and another in June.
Jackson tells KMGH-TV that two men wielding baseball bats hit the man and woman in the head on Saturday, causing major injuries. The robbers took a woman’s purse.
In June, a couple was walking to their vehicle when a group of men walked up and attacked them, demanding money. Police said the robbers grabbed the woman’s purse and ran to a waiting car.
