DENVER—A Denver District Court judge has sentenced a former daycare aide to a 40-year prison sentence under a plea agreement for sexually abusing nine preschoolers at a children’s center last summer.
Authorities said Ben Janicki tricked children into being alone with him and assaulted a child on a bus with her mother just yards away.
According to the Denver Post, Janicki on Friday denied he’d sexually abused the children and said his conviction added to a life full of meaningless suffering and unfairness.
