FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Fort Collins police have arrested a transient after a man’s throat was slashed.

Police say 40-year-old Chester Reneau is facing charges of first-degree assault. The victim was not identified.

Police said the stabbing occurred about 8 p.m. Thursday near the Cache Bank.
