Becky Hammon wowed ’em in Fort Collins. Then she showed them in the pro game.

The former Colorado State Rams star, who made her sixth all-star game appearance Saturday, was honored as one of the top 15 WNBA players of all time.

Fans, media, current players and coaches voted to determine the top athletes.

Hammon, now in her 13th season in the WNBA, was drafted by and played for the New York Liberty from 1999-2006 before being traded to the San Antonio Silver Stars. She led the Silver Stars to the conference semifinals last season.

Playing for CSU from 1995-99, Hammon scored more points in her four-year career than any Rams player — male or female — with 2,740 points. She also holds the record in the Western Athletic Conference for career scoring, regardless of gender.

Hammon was a two-time All-American and three-time WAC player of the year, and she also was the recipient of the Francis Pomeroy Naismith Award for the best player in the nation shorter than 5-foot-8.
