As anticipated, Day 2 of the kicked off faster and harder than Day 1. It was Friday, after all, the gateway to the weekend, when the notion of happy hour converts to the wee hours of the night. This time around, there were two outdoor stages in addition to the various Broadway venues to accommodate the larger Friday night crowd. Saturday and Sunday festivities begin even earlier and one can only imagine what the weekend UMS hours of “3 p.m. to last call” will bring.
