GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for western Colorado.
The weather service says intense thunderstorms could cause flooding west of the Continental Divide.
Forecasters said the storms could produce one to two inches of rain per hour that could lead to flooding, mud and rockslides.
