Dexter Fowler continues his offensive reawakening. He delivered three singles Monday and scored in the fifth inning Tuesday. Fowler said a front leg kick that shifts his weight to his back foot has helped trigger his hot streak.

Troy Tulowitzki was criticized for swinging at the first pitch in the ninth inning Monday, helping defuse a rally with a popup. The pitch was high. Numbers were on his side. He’s hitting .328 on first pitches and was 3-for-4 on first pitches with bases loaded.
Third and long.
Ian Stewart landed on the bench with a lefty starting. Jonathan Herrera started in his place. Stewart could lose even more playing time with Chris Nelson’s promotion.
