A 50-year-old Longmont woman arrested Saturday on suspicion of pointing a rifle at a neighbor has a criminal history of pulling firearms on others, according to court records.

Police arrested Diane Flach outside of her home on the 300 block of Riverview Court on Saturday evening after a witness called police and said she had threatened a man working on an adjacent property with a knife and then a rifle.

Flach was arrested on suspicion of felony menacing, misdemeanor harassment, and misdemeanor reckless endangerment, according to court records. She is due in court Wednesday for formal filing of charges.

Officers were called to Flach’s home shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday on a report that a woman had pointed a gun at a man who was working with a front-end loader at an adjacent property that he had just bought. The man told police that the woman confronted him several times throughout the day, initially yelling obscenities, and then escalating to a knife, and, ultimately, the gun.
