AURORA — Aurora Public Schools has hired Darryl Foster as its new chief financial officer.
Foster replaces Casey Wardynski, who accepted a superintendent job in Huntsville, Ala.
Foster has worked in finance for Allied Signal Aerospace Corp., Pepsi-Cola and Water Pik, according to the school district.
He graduated with honors from Tuskegee University and received a master’s degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
Foster’s first day on the job is Aug. 15.
