COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has identified a 45-year-old man from Colorado Springs who was shot dead by deputies after he fired on them.
Deputies say Daniel Leskinen died of multiple gunshot wounds Tuesday outside a Black Forest house when four deputies opened fire as he fired a gun at them.
Deputies received a 911 call early Tuesday from a man claimed his father had shot at him during a fight
Deputies tracked Leskinen to a nearby house and used a stun gun on him, and the man opened fire, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette.
